The project manager will have to develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders including researchers, grantee organisations, implementation partners the organisation may support to conceptualize and execute on programs/projects that can enable the creation of knowledge around EdTech in India. The Project Manager, EdTech role directly reports to the Senior Project Manager, EdTech.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Supporting development and implementation of public goods:
● Conceptualize, design, and implement a survey instrument for generating EdTech
related insights from low-income households.
● Design and implement a dissemination plan to build salience basis the insights from
the survey
● Liaise with stakeholders in the education policy ecosystem to engage and advocate
for EdTech emerging from insights from the survey
● Develop and strengthen service layers to drive effective adoption of public goods
such as EdTech Tulna with government stakeholders
Grant management and support to EdTech partners:
● Identify and onboard key evaluation partners for EdTech programs
● Provide grant management support to EdTech partners end-to-end, i.e. from
strategy development and goal setting to execution to reporting
● Conceptualize and define dashboards for EdTech partners that can facilitate data
use and decision making for implementation/evaluation
● Ensure the data informs key programmatic iterations
● Ensure delivery on outcomes by partner/grantee organizations as per mutuallyagreed goals
● Build a pipeline of researchers to - globally and in India - seek advisory/lead the
EdTech evaluations in India
● Identify innovative hypotheses based on current and future trends in EdTech and
build a pipeline of potential solutions for evaluation
● Engage with partners to socialize preliminary results to help identity successes/
challenges and undertake decisions around scale
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
● Bachelors or equivalent degree required (background in Education, Public Policy,
Business, Economics and related fields)
● 3-5 years of experience with exposure to the education/EdTech sector
● Excellent project management skills and communication skills
● Demonstrated ability to build & manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
● Experience of working with academic partners and edtech organizations is good to
have
