Description
The purpose of this Call for Proposals is to provide
four-year grants - including core and flexible funds - to civil
society organizations working to address violence against
women and girls, especially those servicing structurally
marginalised groups1
. This Call seeks to strengthen the
resilience and sustainability of frontline organizations so
they can deliver critical, essential services, advance
prevention and drive transformative change, even in the
face of growing challenges.
The UN Trust Fund welcomes proposals that contribute to
one or more of the following outcomes:
1. Improving access for women and girls to essential,
specialist, safe, adequate and quality multisectoral
services
2. Improving prevention of violence against women and
girls through changes in behaviours, practices and
attitudes
3. Increasing effectiveness of legislation, policies,
national action plans and accountability systems to
prevent and end VAW/G
