Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate a variety of M&E capacity-building engagements including training workshops (in-person and virtual), technical advisory services and knowledge-sharing events for government officials, implementing partners and researchers
  • Developing training materials, presentations, manuals and knowledge products for different capacity-building initiatives
  • Contributing to capacity-building engagements and activities as a trainer and/or a facilitator
  • Supporting knowledge management activities
  • Supporting CLEAR grant management
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement, partnership development and outreach activities
  • Supporting cross-vertical collaborations




Functional details:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy or international Development). A strong technical understanding of economics, statistics or evaluation is necessary. Strong interest in international development policy, South Asia development, and/or program evaluation as demonstrated by coursework and professional experience. 
  • Experience: You may be a recent graduate with related internships, or you may have previous experience in research and/or policy. Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or developing content would be an added plus.
  • Communication: Polished communications in written and spoken English. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical concepts in ways that policymakers and others understand
  • Time Management: Proven ability to handle several different projects/tasks at one time, successfully complete tasks assigned, and meet deadlines.
  • Attitude: You are willing to learn, and are passionate about international development policy and the rigorous research that informs it. You are self-motivated, work hard, and enjoy working in teams.
