Description

The Accounting Operations and Payments assistant will work closely with colleagues in the accounting function and with project teams, to ensure transactions are processed on time and accurately. This position will support the finance operations of the organization, both in India and in their other offices.


Reports to -

This position will report to the Manager of Finance Operations.


Responsibilities -

The Accounting Operations and Payments Assistant’s responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Reviewing and approving backup for payments and other transactions
  • Processing of payments
  • Creation of invoices
  • Reconciling source information to accounting information
  • Creating reports, particularly in Excel, and tracking relevant metrics
  • Researching and responding to inquiries from others in the organization regarding financial and related information
  • Submit payroll information to third party service provider to process reporting and other statutory compliance requirements
  • Initiate payments on the bank portal
  • Other activities as required.
