We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop relevant, effective, active, and inclusive online eLearning and blended-learning content for teachers and teacher educators
The Instructional Designer will work closely with the subject matter experts to analyse the existing and new content and re-imagine the content to make it more engaging and easier-to-use. The designer will then work-back with the eLearning Developer to design both print based and e-content for the required audience. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
? Collaborating with the program team in the analysis of user needs, audience, tasks, learning context, and UX leading to the development of a final product concept
? Visualize and create frameworks for engaging learning activities and compelling course content, both for blended and online learning
? Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
? Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
? Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
? Review all drafts of content developed and provide direction to content writers for improvement and correction, or modify course design map as necessary.
? Develop and edit online learning material and content
? Design exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
? Develop and design online material and assessment tools, to measure the effectiveness of the course
? Coordinate with the eLearning developer
? Oversee implementation of online learning programs
Candidate Description -
The candidate should have:
? Previous working experience in instructional design for a minimum of one-year.
? Experience in designing both blended and online learning content
? Knowledge of Hindi language is preferable
? In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
? Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
? Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods
? Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts.
? Experience with creating content for non tech-savvy adult audiences is preferred but not mandatory.
? Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) are preferred but not mandatory.
