The Global Fund to End Modern Slavery (GFEMS) is pleased to announce new funding available to combat modern slavery through an agreement with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID). GFEMS will distribute approximately USD 15M across 14 opportunities in support of its overall Theory of Change. These opportunities fall into the following categories:
- Overseas Labour Recruitment – India & Bangladesh
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation (of Children) – India & Bangladesh
- Apparel – India & Bangladesh

The 14 opportunities consist of evidence-based interventions, experimental innovations, or a combination thereof; consult the Request for more details. Applicants must submit an 8-page concept note in the required template by Monday, September 2nd at 11:59 pm EDT to be considered for any funding. Applicants may submit a letter of interest in order to access additional GFEMS research that will support design work.
